Tour of California Part Deux

Here is a small piece of video that I took on Saturday. The riders are Hincapie, Hamilton, Zabriskie, and Armstrong.

Also, I found this map online. It's from a website called www.mapmyride.com. They have GPS downloadable maps for every stage in the Tour. Very cool.

Tour of California

Watched the Tour of California Prologue on Saturday in downtown Sacramento. My first time on light rail in Sacramento. We had a lot of fun. At least one-half of the people were there just to see Lance. I have some video that I'll post once I learn the best way.

Here's the current data. The knee is holding up, so I've started to increase my running.

The Drought is Real

Folsom Lake is scary low. Here are a couple pics from this weekend. Water rationing can't be very far away.

With water levels this low, the triathlon in March will be interesting.

Here is this week's data.

February 2, 2009

On my long ride this week (2 hours, 20 miles), I saw a ewe with two newborn lambs. One lamb was still in its' sack, being cleaned by the mom. I looked around for the owner, and so no one. They were on their own.

It was an interesting contrast to this week's story about a young girl who had eight babies that were conceived by in-vitro fertilization, and removed from her body by c-section surgery performed by a team of medical professionals.

Here's this week's data summary:
